LAX/SoCal weekend of Aug. 6-8
I'll be spending the weekend of August 6 through 8th in the LA area, arriving on AA 75 from Dulles Friday night at 8:15 and returning Sunday afternoon on AA 144 at 1:25. Part mileage run (to finish up my AA Plat Challenge on a bargain 1.0 q-pts/mile fare) and part relaxation/pleasure trip. And what better way to relax than to spend time with fellow FTers? 
I'm up for anything...drinks, dinner, lunch, sporting events, etc...and will leave it up to those of you more in the know to decide on a venue. Will have a rental car, so transportation/location is not a problem.

no go...for me at least
I decided to change my LAX trip to another week because I'll be hanging out with US Airways folks in Philadelphia at "RoachFEST" on Saturday August 7th.
Still hope to meet some of you in LA in the near future, though!
