Absolutely! You're free to decide right up to the end. If it's looking like a go that week, let me know and we'll add you to the list and the reservation. And if you don't make it, we'll look forward to meeting you another time.

All things being considered, dinner over lunch. I don't care when.

Either works for me. Anyone have a preference? Or a suggestion for a different time?

Lunch works better for me. If it's dinner, I can't make it due to some other plans.

It'll be lunch for sure. Got a preference on time?

Can I show up without RSVPing? Would that be uncouth and just downright rude?

Will only be problem if the place is busy and there isn't any additional room at the table. I would suggest a better plan is to say you'll be attending and then let me know, even if it's last minute, that you can't.

That place is always busy at lunch. Either you can put me down, or I'm sitting on someone's lap. Thanks!
