Is Freddie Jr. still in NYC?
If he is, and doesn't have plans, we will be happy to pick him up the weekend of June 4 and take him with us to DUS later in the month. I don't remember if he has ever met Bernie.
We will all so have a trip to ANC in between so we can show him Alaska.
Of course, knowing how he travels he might be anywhere.

I am going to try and meet Spiff while he is in the BWI area for his trip to Iceland. I believe he is going to DUS.

I was honored (although a bit confused) to be seated at the same table as Freddy Jr. at the Freddies. I have a clearer undertanding of him now

Freddie Jr has made the news. Check out Friday's entry on Slate in Maudie's journal on the Iceland trip.
Freddie Jr. is actually brought along on trips by FTers, who pass him off to each other once in a while. Spiff is Freddie's current guardian. But "nobody owns Freddie," he says in only semi-mock religious tones. "He belongs to us all."
"This thing has been around the world in 80 days 30 million times," asserts Zoe, her hand around what I guess would be Freddie's shoulder. At the end of what passes for our "night," a band of the faithful (plus me, the interloper) climb a monument-bearing hill overlooking Reykjavik bay and take a memorial photo of Freddie Jr. looking noble against the setting of sunset-pink clouds.

For those of us not-in-the-know....what does it take for one to be entrusted with Freddie Jr? Can anyone borrow him for a trip, or just a somewhat-defined group of "trusted" FTers?
