Being as I would be able to stagger up the hill back home how can I resist this " once in a life time " oppertunity!
Moderation is probably my first choice but it may well not be my last!
How do we go about picking a date?

Seriously, I'd be interested attending - first choice is the big kahuna but would happily settle for the dabbler option

while the company is tempting
i have not gone to the bubble lounge (it weas a big dot com hangout during my days in that world) since the murder of one of their patrons by a cabdriver. Evidence suggests she was very drunk to the extent of giving the driver her atm card to get more cash and I choose not to go to places who don't cut people off when it's warranted.
I kmow, personal responsibility etc but for me it's a karma/vibe thing.

This sounds like a great time to do a trans-con mileage run but it'll all depend on the date selected.
FYI, the August 13-15 weekend is Sea-Doo so you might want to pick an alternate weekend, not sure how much conflict there will be in attendees.

I'm also in favor of less food and more champagne, but again, that is just me.
So... weekend? Or can we throw out a list of possibles in Aug/Sept and see what sticks?

How about we focus on late summer, early fall so that people have adequate time to plan? I'll also send an e-mail to the GM at the lounge to check for different dates. Here are some tenative date ideas that should not conflict with other FT events - all Saturdays:
- July 24
- August 21
- September 18 or 25

- September 18 or 25

My fault for not following up
There are four dates that seem available on weekends (all Saturdays) - July 31, August 21 and September 18/25. To allow planning/travel time how do people feel about September 18th?
