Just want to say hello to everyone. I just joined today but have been on this site off and on for a long time.
I'm from WA. State but was born in CA.
Last Summer I went to England, Scotland and Holland. I was gone 3 weeks and I went by myself and had a blast. Even rented a car and drove on the left side of the road and the stick shift was on the left too. I told the lady at the airport in Glasgow that I may bring it back within the hour, because I was afraid at first but I was fine, although those round-abouts confused me a bit.
I don't work out of the home so I can travel when I want to. I have a cattery and raise bengal kittens. Their a hybrid, part asian leopard and part domestic cat.
Here's a photo of one of them.

Let me guess, the female is the house cat? I have a hard time picturing somebody thinking about mating a make house cat with a female leopard.
Couldn't resist.
Welcome.

Your kitty is very cute. Welcome to FT. We are not ALL liberals.
We are going to Edinburgh for the first time this summer to track down my husband's family's roots. Can you PM me if you have any sightseeing tips?

All non-liberals are going on my buddy list. *grin*
I was in Edinburgh only for 2 days and Glasglow for 2 days. I spent most of my time in England and Holland so I don't know that much.
I was just thrilled to rent a car and drive and see things. The old buildings, just the feeling of the old history there.

welcome to FT
Perhaps this thread should be moved to Community, where our new member will be able to get to know more members of FT...? (not too many venture into the waters of OMNI these days....)
