For those of you that can't make dinner...

Lunch

Tim and I will be meeting for lunch at Veselka on Second Ave and East 9th Street in the east village.

Wednesday at 12 noon.

Many of the locals, and many visiting Flyertalkers have enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. A search of this forum will provide some info. Large variety of home cooked comfort food from this Polish/Ukranian/Jewish eatery.
Expect to pay in the $10 range for lunch.

If anyone should need to cancel PLEASE call the restaurant so we have the right number for dinner. One time I put together a dinner for 8 and only two others showed up ;( I don't get e-mail during the afternoon most times so I don't want to inconvenience West Bank. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for another wonderful evening at West Bank Cafe!

We had a wonderful evening of sharing stories of earning miles and points. It was a nice small group, which allowed us to get to know each other a little better. For example, I didn't know about cordilli and his wife's love of cats!

Arcolaio99: Sorry you could not make it. You missed a great evening.

I finally tried the steak which cut just like butter and was wonderful. The restaurant brought us appetizers and two extra deserts which we passed around the table.

I like the smaller dinners. We need to do another one in NYC next month!

Happy with the turnout. It gave me the confidence to make me want to organize other events, that there are people who would lik ean FT gathering (not a DO ;0) ) where we enjoy good food and Platinum company!

One time I did a dinner for 10 and only three showed up ;(

Hope everyone had a great time. We need to get together again.
