You must have more patience with GRPS than I was having. I managed to pull up Flyertalk during dinner but it was sllloooowwww.

But the Millenium Hilton has free WiFi in the lobby... ^

I ran the batteries pretty well down on my PDA phone and then realized that I lost half of the charger somewhere between home & here.

It was an interesting evening. Nice to have met folks and now I have faces to go with some of the names.

No problem with the GPRS. But I didnt bring my Bluetooth card so I had to use IR from my IPAQ to my phone. Didnt have an IR profile set up so I had to mess around a bit. Once done the connection wasnt too bad.

I looked for you after the presentations, I had saved an extra packet of table gifts as you had asked but I couldnt find you.

Yes, it was a lot of fun I got to shake hands with Sir Freddy (boy I bet he was tired of perfect strangers coming up to him and shaking his hand) and talk to Randy and a lot of FTers. It was actually my first FT event so it was quite a way to start. ^

Unfortunately I couldnt stay late since I have to get up at 5:30 this morning, hope everyone had fun after the event.

I had a great time too -- I can't believe how FT looked on that phone. The top graphic took up 1/3 of the screen!

Gadgetfreak, I apologize. Once I saw the contents of the bags I realized threre wasn't anything my wife and I would need two of... Thank you for guarding Kathy's bag anyway. I wonder if the "real" guests received anything more valuable in their bags?
