Hotel rates
Here are some hotel rates for 15-17 JAN 2005:
Conrad- S$180 (US$105) for the first night and S$220 (US$128) for the second night; Refundable rates
Sheraton- S$215 (US$125), Refundable rate
Intercontinetal- S$150 (US$87), non-refundable rate; S$170 (US$99), Refundable rate
I've stayed at the Conrad and Sheraton before. I've been consistently upgraded as a HHonors Gold at the Conrad and have been given a junior suite at the Sheraton as a Platinum Preferred. Personally, I like the Conrad better because it is more well-kept than the Sheraton.

At the moment, I'm holding a Hilton reservation for the 1st night and the Conrad thereafter. However, last year, eagle eyed violist spotted a 3rd night free rate at the Conrad. Ever one for a bargain, I'll stay there all three nights if they do so again this year.

free weekend nights
Sure, there are - but for many participants, the free weekend nights are restricted to categories 1-4 this time. So forget about the St. Regis
