Not only do you have a birthdate, you and all members have a community (small "c") seal of approval. If we mouse over the green dot, next to your user name on this and other posts, we'll see that "you are on a distinguished road". Others of us mere mortals will "never requalify for the next elite level" as we have not yet made our reputation on FT ! This is not an April 1 prank or a comment on where we are in airline or hotel programs, but a rating feature of the new FT technology. Ocn Vw 1K, Moderator.

unless you're on a Mac
in which case moving your cursor or mouse or anything over the green dot does nothing
I also don't care for this rating/reputation system ....unless it's strictly post count...I can imagine all the stuff that's going to go on with reporting posts....

I agree. You disagree with some people over in Omni and they can easily smear or bismirch your good name. I am not sure I am too thrilled about that new function.

Can we change our birth certificates? Mine says I'm older than I am! I registered in 8/02 & promptly forgot about FT due to travel (silly me), so didn't really 'discover' it & start actively participating until 01/03. I want that 6-month credit

Huh?
What does this mean? It took over 5 minutes for the last post. And, I have no idea why I am an Original Member since I didn't join in 1969. I was only 6 years old and didn't have a computer! Now, I will hit send and go to bed.

Seems one at least changed today from what it was yesterday. Wonder how that works?

Since my profile shows that I last visited Jan 1, 70, at noon, I thought that 1934 years is too long to go between posts. And, since Premex was the first FT-er I met (Cousin Craig6z not withstanding as knew him, of course, pre-FT), posting to Premex's thread is kinda appropriate for my first "enhanced" post. However, me thinks that I won't be posting much from dial up, too slow. A lot of nice features however.
Still, I pride myself that I've never used an emoticon (why say in a symbol what can be said in 75 words) and even with all the new smilies, I can see no reason to break my tradition. Now to post and check out my "dot"
