Catch Metra UP northwest train to Cumberland station
OR
Catch CTA Blue LIne L train to Rosemont station (probably easier for you & more time options)
I can pick you up & drop you back off at either. THIS GOES FOR ANYONE ELSE COMING FROM THE CITY that needs a ride.

I’ll definitely be there - unless my wife cancels our whole trip due to her planter fasciitis troubles. I doubt she’ll cancel.
thank you! Easier indeed.
turns out I’m staying by magnificent mile - embassy suites ftw. When you say Cumberland, is this the station at N Cumberland Ave? Depending on who else gets a ride, I’m happy to meet anywhere!
is rosemont the same as rosemont transit center (Not rosemont metra)? Just checking.
thanks again for this!
Much quicker options for you.

Cumberland Metra station is in Des Plaines, and is *not* near the Cumberland CTA Blue Line station.
Metra is faster, cleaner, but more expensive and doesn't run as often. Check the schedule on Metra website. CTA Blue Line is cheap, but noisy and slow.

Hi all.
Won't be able to make this one due to work commitments, but enjoy and hopefully catch up with everyone soon.

I'm a maybe. Would be good to see everyone and meet gaobest in real life, but think I'm working that day (am in Michigan so would need the day off). We have new staff & I'm doing training. But if I do get the day off I'll drive down.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Willie,
Add my +1, vbnet . She loves the place. For all attending who have room in their diets for a few 1000s extra calories, they have a bakery with muliple types of Baklava, by the pound! Their pistachio baklava is as good as some of the stuff I've eaten in Istanbul.
P.S. If we get to over 6 we'll probably need reservations, or wait for them to put together seating for us.
