CHICAGO - Flyertalk Dinner Do - Sun Wah Chinese BBQ - Fri April 14

Hey Flyertalk, the duck dinner is normally a popular dinner, I believe there have been 5 of these dinners in the past but it has been awhile.

Who is up for a duck dinner (& other dishes) on Friday evening April 14?
We'll have this family style like most dinners so that everyone gets to sample a variety of items.

ALL ARE WELCOME! (Update, ALL ARE WELCOME to every Do, but for this Do, a table limit has been reached, there is no more room for other attendees)

Time: 6:30PM

Venue:
Sun Wah BBQ
5041 N Broadway
Chicago IL

Definitely interested! (as long as it's easy-ish to get on public transit...)

I'm in!

Will arrive via Amtrak that morning & depart Amtrak 6:00pm Saturday. Staying at Chicago Athletic Association (Hyatt property) on Michigan Ave not far from the Art Institute. Second the easy'ish to get to via public transport request. Doesn't matter to me where we'll get together as long as public transport (or a ride) is available.

Looking forward to it!

Cheers.

6:30pm likely

I'll be driving so if you need a ride back to ORD after, I can provide transportation as I live close to ORD.

(Don't plan on renting a car, major construction is occurring on the Kennedy expressway for the next 3 years. The Blue Line L is your friend)

I wouldn't call the Blue Line L a "friend". A "crazy uncle you are forced to deal with once in a while", maybe.

Great! I’m going to plan on spending the night, likely at Rosemont and then heading out mid-day Saturday.

haha, well put, however in light of the huge backups on the inbound Kennedy, the Blue Line L is your crazy uncle in his sane moment
