I signed up for the first time. Hope I did it correctly. Wouldn’t want to cause Santa extra trouble. Hope he feels better soon.

Santa Update Post:

The first round of assignments will be private messaged to you within the next two hours. On a personal note, many of you actually included me as a Secret Santa assignment you wanted this year (this seems to happen every year). Again, coordinating this event is my gift to the community. I am again not participating due to not being employed at the current time. I also end out having to financially fulfill some commitments that go unresolved. Due to those anticipated financial outlays, I have chosen to not send and receive any personal gifts. In addition, with our recent move (still do not have furniture due to some construction work) and having a medical director husband on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis here in Georgia, our lives are pretty hectic. I do appreciate the requests. Now, if anyone knows of any great deals on a 17” touch screen laptop, send that my way! That would be a great gift as I hope to get one by Black Friday!

Just a bit of advice if you are planning to send something via Amazon: It will not accept orders without the recipient's phone number.

I usually just enter a generic number.

I have had very bad luck with generic numbers. I made 1000 phone calls, picking numbers at random, looking for a date.

Of the 1000 calls:

250 did not exist
400 were answered by men or young children, so I hung up.
100 of the women I actually reached threatened me with restraining orders.
200 refused to meet me.
45 did meet me and were very disappointed.
The remaining 5 who met me were nauseated.

FWIW, I've had repeated success in buying refurbished laptops on Amazon (from 3rd party sellers), the Leveno ThinkPad brand which I've used for 15+ years . You get the Amazon buyer protections and dirt cheap prices.

I received this via Amazon today. I have no idea if it’s from SS or if someone else has decided to treat me, but many thanks if it was from my SS. Much appreciated 😀

I am very surprised by this. I can't find any booze on the Amazon website. There certainly are many related items (eg: glasses with the logos of particular brands) but no actual booze. After seeing this post I tried searching for Redbreast whisky and, again, found only related items.

Same, but if I use the UK site, there are several different options that appear.

I’m in the UK. You can buy almost any alcohol on Amazon.

If you sent your information before 10/18, then you likely didn't send it correctly or omitted information.
