It's time to think about the future and what 2021 will be instead of this 2020 nonsense. Barring a mandatory 2 week mandatory quarantine on arrival, SIN DO 2021 is on.

Drinks followed by dinner .. 190 Lounge / One-Ninety Restaurant Four Seasons Hotel Singapore 190 Orchard Boulevard Singapore 248646 Not sure about Sunday lunch . Will be somewhere in Tanglin Club , likely Tavern , 17 January , noon .. as La Strada is full till ?? Cannot Zoom there & need to check which areas we can briefly ..

Hmmm..... Assuming I can get back in this would be very interesting to join. The event has been a long and wonderful one, and is now the longest running DO of all. I truly hope it can happen.

I'm very said to say it, but after attending 8 SIN DO in a row, I'm going to have to bow out this year due to the global pandemic. I look forward to attending again and starting a new streak in 2022.

well unfortunately unless you're a resident of Australia, Brunei, China, Vietnam, New Zealand and Taiwan, you cannot enter Singapore as a tourist at this time

Those who are already in Singapore & out of quarantine can meet up . As of now , only groups of 8 are allowed to gather . So at restaurants , no mingling between tables . Restaurants are very full , think a significant portion of travel funds have been channeled to meals out ! But sure something can be arranged given a few days notice

I very much hope that some form of the Do can occur even if with residents and other post-quarantine allowed visitors. This is the longest running Do on FT and when I started it in 2002 I had no idea it would go so strong for so long. The tireless efforts of the folks who have taken up the mantle of running it are the reason it has lasted. Although it will be a very different event this year, if it can happen in some form it will be bale to maintain the title of longest running Do.

Are you in lockdown ? Perhaps one or many of you who have been enjoying past SIN DOs will chime in and if someone arranges a Zoom conference for this ?
For a start , will reserve a table for 8 of us next Friday , FS Lounge , 5 . 30 pm , 15 January .
Are there 8 who are or will be roaming freely in Singapore by 14 January & should not be jet lagging by our cocktail ?!
