CHICAGO - hearty fare dinner Do - Tues Dec 3, 2019
Hey all, seeing as it will be December, I'm planning a dinner at a "hearty", stick to your ribs type place, something like
Laschet's German restaurant Menu or Jibek Jolu, the Central Asian restaurant Food menu | Jibek Jolu Central Asian Cuisine
At this point what is firm is the date, so block Tuesday evening Dec 3 off in your calendar.
OK, time & venue are now firmed up. ALL are welcome
PLEASE NOTE: due to the city of Chicago repairing a water main, the venue has been moved to a new location
Time: 6:30pm
Venue:
I've made a reservation for 10 people at 6:30pm at Cafe Beograd.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHO IS INTERESTED AND WHO IS NOT SO THAT I CAN UPDATE THE THREAD ACCORDINGLY.
Thank you,
Willie

Well I'm in. Flights are actually pretty cheap so I'm buying tickets now.

Hi - this would be my first FT meetup - put me down as a maybe for now - weekday work schedules and potential travel aren't set this far in advance for me!
PS I've heard Diplomat's Cafe for Georgian (Caucuses) food is also good for hearty winter goodness. I've eaten at Jibek Jolu and Laschet's Inn and both were very good as well.
