What do you do for work?

I started traveling for work about 3 years ago and that's when I started becoming interested in travel, points and miles, etc. It's pretty light compared to the road warriors here: 6-8 domestic and 1 international trips per year. One thing that that always interests me is what people do for work that requires them to travel regularly, especially the jobs that you wouldn't necessarily guess. For example I read about a rabbi who had a Delta-themed wedding, because he traveled so much with them to different rabbi schools. Or a physicist I met in ATL recently who travels to conferences and for research.

ATF, I think they would be more answers to your question if you told us what you do for a living? Why do you travel?

I'm in sales and travel to meetings and conventions.

What do you all do for a living?

Pretty off-topic, but I don't know where to post this otherwise. I'm looking for a career change (currently a software engineer, embedded software). Just curious what others here do, trying to grab ideas that might fit in better with the lifestyle.
