EVERYONE got a long quizzing and HEAPS got bag searched. That and this stooopid fingerprint/photo deal for 600 folks in front of us ... UA Rio, Sao Paulo and EZE flights all arrived at noce, and it was insane. Agents have no clue what they are doing yet. Missed UA connex by the truckload I can tell ya. AND US citizens too .. no exceptions. Yay! I'm glad you guys are thinking the same way I am! I just posted a thread looking for Happy Hour buddies in the DC area in the Miles section.
Looks like I missed the January get together, but I am totally up for February! Anytime except 2/12-2/16 is fine with me--I am doing a mileage run to SIN then. Something along the metro would be preferable since I work downtown and won't have my car handy. Look forward to meeting you all! |
