Thanks for the suggestion. I called US back and we looked at a number of options for both DEN and COS and couldn't find any availability on the outbound (we even looked at obscure routings such as Salt Lake City). She could get me to PHL or PIT and that was about it. I don't think she could even find any YYZ-ORD availability - likely a result of AC operating half of the flights, so no access to that inventory through US.

Guess it's 'angel' time. You find the seat, I find the 'angel'.

I've sent you an email with some possible seats, but I just wanted to say a public thanks for your efforts in helping me attend SkiDo!

Regretfully, I must take a pass......this sounds like a LOT of fun, but family obligations and trips later in the month make it impossible to pull off....

I look forward to the PICS!!!

Best wishes,
Dave

My flight was changed. Here is current updated info:

Mar 11 UA 903 IAD-DEN arr 19:10
Mar 14 UA 430 DEN-EWR departing 18:26

This means I can cancel the rental car & take the shuttle bus.
Randy, if you have room in your vehicle, please add me as one more passenger for your Vail-Denver run on Sun afternoon.
Thanks!

I'm arriving early on the 10th and leaving early on the 14th. I will have a rental car. I might be taking the ski train to Winter Park the first couple of days, so if anyone else arrives early ...

please take my name off the list. I had another personal commitment come up for that weekend and won't be able to make it. I was so looking forward to skiing for the first time.

I've got your name on the bus...gus (SeeYa).

As of now I've got one FlyerTalker taking up one of the beds in the condo for both Fri/Sat nights and one FlyerTalker taking another bed for just Sat. night.

After watching the X Games, I'm for renting a snowmobile and seeing if we can do backflips with it. Note to self: make sure insurance is paid up.

QUESTION: Of those coming, boarders or skiers?

Me: skier (butt and knees still hurt from last time boarding....)

I will be skiing.

Does Vail have an ice rink? If so, I'll bring my ice skates too.

Skiier.... and I just realized that is my second Ski-DO (went last year after our Munich-DO with TxLobo to Scheffau - aka the last time I stood on skiis).

Definately a skiier, and definately willing to watch others attempt backflips on snowmobiles for hours of endless amusement.

I'll look for a ride after flights are confirmed.

Edit: This was post 1000! Yee haw!

I'm a skier. Spiff, Vail does have an ice rink. Randy, can I catch a ride back on Sun aft?

Alas, my client commitments prevent me from sorting out hotels/condos stuff before I leave for Portland tomorrow, but I will get to it on Monday when I'm back in office. And I'm heading off FT now to get back to clients - just decided to check Community.
