Loving this people! Loving it!
I think I am going to move to all 3 nights at the TLV hotel, save me some hassles, then I will just take the train out to JRU, maybe on Monday. TLV Rennaissance, fyi.
I am sad that I didn't get my upgrade on the LA-Miami flight on AA. In fact it is full, so maybe I can bump it!?
Thanks guys!! Gonna write to both of you shortly via e-mail.
Shalom

This is turning into Israel's first FT meet.
I will meet Interflug at his hotel, take him around TLV a bit, and then we will join Apirchik in Herzliya for lunch. A third Israeli FT has been invited to join us as well.
MarkR33, based on your Palm Beach County address, you are especially invited to look at http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum21/HTML/013305.html

Great! I am at the British Airways Terraces Lounges at Gatwick.
I have been through so much so far, will update at the trip report.
My first e-mail access since I left.
Looks like I have started the first Israeli flytertalk lunch, perhaps we can do this more often.
Dov, I will call you on Sunday when I land in TLV. Toda rabah, Shalom

Shalom all.
BA lounge at LHR, checked in for TLV. When they put the TLV sticker on my bag that was exciting alone. Absolutely no security check or questions... had more security going Gatwick to Frankfurt!?
Looks like we are all set and I will call Dov and Ophir when I get in Sunday morning, take it from there.
See ya soon.
Shalom

It is 9:37 in Israel and I just tried calling Interflug at his hotel.
He didn't answer.
I can only hope that he did manage to sit next to a cute woman on the flight and spent the night in her hotel room.
On the other hand, there is a strong possibility that he has been arrested by Israeli Customs on charges of trying to smuggle stolen British Air souvenirs into the country.

I dunno. It seems to me that two F/Ters don't qualify as an official meet.
I think its written in the TOS somewhere that you gotta have at least three.
Your invite to the zoo is still open, but if you want to see a real zoo before then, join us at the Great Delta Board FLL-PIA Meet in May.

No women to pick up, save maybe one of the stews, and she didn't seem interested, oh well.
Was great meeting you and everyone and thanks
for the tour de Tel Aviv. Would have never gone to some of those places without a tourguide. Shalom!
I leave in a few hours.

Everyone, thanks and a big toda rabah for everything, hospitality, lunch, and chauffering me around.
I had a great time. While I am begrudghing the upcoming security fun, UGH and OY, it is sad to be leaving.
I did go over and buy a real Israeli flag and a few other goodies.
Visited the Sheraton Ramat Gan last night, very nice hotel, snuck into their lounge
, not hard to do, and their pool alone would make me come and stay there.
Everyone, thanks, toda, shalom, and
Shma Y'israel!
Custsoms!?, what customs? LOL

3 for a minyan? Feh.
This must mean the rumor is true but I can't believe it: you mean Israel isn't religious!?!
Anyway, glad you had a great trip. It's only been a few weeks and I can't wait to get back already.
As to where I really want to go to eat, I decided. I want to go to Ritchies Pizza on Ben Yehuda in 1976, that's what I really want. And to weigh 136 again. sigh.
