Welcome aboard ontherun! Yet another Mark among our distinguished company! And there's another Mark who collects UA memorabilia -- our own PremEx...
|
Onefreeman,
I've run up against Mr. Love on the eBay boards <VBG>, luckily I haven't started collecting cigar labels or we'd meet head to head in another collecting venue. Although Premex has made 1K, I'm still mired at Premex myself, and unfortunately I have to make Premex on segments, rather than miles. Thanks for the welcome note. |
Welcome, ontherun...

Punki:
Thank you for the kind words! I was blown away by that coincidence, but it is true that the world is, in some ways, a small place. Good luck at T2!!! Talk with you soon, ------------------ --Ronald mailto:[email protected][email protected]</A> |
Hey Mr. Catman ;-)
Actually I will be in Jamaica for most of September selling books. I doubt that we can meet then, but hey the next time you are in Toronto, let me know. Take care |
As the Institutional Sales Manager for a very larg US bank, I have managed our offices in NY, Altanta & Dallas in the past and now run NY & Chicago. I am based in NY and thus use CO out of EWR frequently to keep an eye on things. The Banks HQ are in SF, so I travel out to the west coast about 5 or 6 times a year. My husband's travels consist of LAS (or anywhere there is sports betting), so he is not quite as frequent a traveler. We also have 5 cats at home, and someone has to 'clean out the litter'. I am a Platinum on CO (Gold for the past 4 years), a Black Marquis in Marriott, a Gold in Starwood and a Platinum (soon to be Diamond) in Hyatt's programs. This year I've travelled to Dublin (Feb), Paris (Mar) and Belgium/Luxembourg (May). I will be going back to Paris in Nov thanks to a free ticket AF gave me when they screwed up--and have a 900 credit on NW for use sometime in the next 2 years due to their overbooking-- so any suggestions would be welcome. The foreign trips were quick (3 or 4 day long weekend) vacations.
I found this site by accident sometime in mid April and have been hooked since. (I made "Member" last week) I love the hints, travel reports and quick responses. I am now getting used to the different personalities and enjoying them all. While I can't make the PIP in Hawaii, I would love to have one I can attend (Las Vegas anyone http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif! |
Great bio Mauld espeically the part about being a CAT LOVER!!!

MEOW! MEOW!!! |
Again I'll throw my vote in for Vegas. I'll be there in Sept. on business, but it's easy for me to get there from Portland, and I don't really need much of a reason to go. I love the place!!

A Hearty Welcome to you Mauld!
I am always thrilled when I see a woman join the ranks--we are so rare. http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif I think a get together in Las Vegas is a great idea, or New York, or New Orleans, or Key West, or Australia, or.......... Like most Flyer Talkers, when it comes to travel, I'm pretty easy to convince. Where ever it happens to be, I look forward to meeting you there. or Seattle http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
How about a FlyerTalk tour through the Boeing plant? |
I was to the Boeing Airline museum in Seattle which was a LOT of fun. A lot of children there but I think there's an old military plane you can ride in.
If you can get us into the Boeing plant I will be surprised. I thought they would have a LOT of security. But it's a great idea Dgolds! http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif ------------------ MEOW! MEOW! MEOW!!! |
I have been lurking her for months and just recently felt comfortable enough to join in. Not that this isn't a very comfortable place--it's my problem. Anyway, I do marketing for a company that provides online lottery services throughout the U.S. and the world. With 27 domestic customers alone, I travel a lot for meetings and presentations. I live and work in Olympia, WA, but the rest of my group is in Sacramento, CA, so I make frequent trips there. I have qualified for AK's next year's MVP gold next year already, and will work on NWA next. I love to hike so live in the right place. (My beloved cat's name is Rusty.)
|
Welcome, TravelWeary. Amazingly enough, daughter also lives in Olympia and loves it there. We have a beautiful State, don't we. I flew up from SFO this morning and fell in love with it all over again as I looked down into the crater of Mt. St. Helens, a view of which I never tire.
I too am an MVP Gold, working on renewing NWA Silver and UAL Premex for 2000 as well--some weeks feel like I live at Seatac. There is talk of a Seattle get together so I sincerely hope I will meet you then if not before. Again, welcome. [This message has been edited by Punki (edited 07-13-1999).] |
And a warm welcome to all you new Flyer Talkers--even those who haven't given us more details in who you are 2 http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif.
