Hey everyone. Been browsing this forum for a long time and decided to go ahead and get my first post out of the way. Name is Brent, I'm 24 and I live in Huntsville, AL. Love to travel and have found a lot of useful information here for my Delta Sky Miles and Starwood Preferred accounts.

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I live in Massachusetts and like to combine travelling to new places with running races. We are planning to run the Dublin Marathon in Oct. 2010 and would like some advice re. what to take in while we are there.

Hi everyone! I'd like to take the opportunity to introduce myself to the community. I'm 34 years old (or young
) and live in Bremen (Germany) where I work as a government employee for the Dept. of Justice. Those of you who are also members of the German forum vielfliegertreff.de should already know me as I'm using the same nick on that website.

introducing myself
Well hey there!
I'm Mike. I'm 24. Just trying to work at my small business and pay the bills and get some tips in the best way to save money. Pretty new at this, so I thought I'd check out some forums to see if I could get any basic tips. It would be greatly appreciated! I live in canada, Toronto to be exact & I love to travel, though I haven't been to many places (just asia and the US!) looking to get to Europe this coming November. Besides travel I love food + drink, photography, music & the arts in general. Glad to be here!

Hi all,
I've always been impressed with the positive vibe here. I have a confession: I actually enjoy flying if you can believe it.
Anyway I find myself a fairly frequent flyer now, so I'm here to learn from the pros.
Thanks everyone for making this forum such a great resource.

location : Highlands of Scotland, originally from Manchester
Unfortuantely as i am not a frequent flyer (4 trips a year to Tx) and i go economy (not blessed with a well paid travel included job), i am unfortuantely stuck with the Onepass programme as it enables me to save miles without seeing them expire before i redeem them ... (are there alternatives?)
... and is it just me or are Co's fares getting more expensive ?
regards to all

Hi
I'm Espen, a 27 year old guy living in Oslo, Norway. Living on my own, although my girlfriend keeps filling up my apartment with her stuff
Working as a business analyst within the silicon business, with main focus on solar energy.....no, I'm no idealist trying to save the world.....i.e. I don't work for free
And btw guys, there is a huge difference between silicon and silicone....and there are few boobs within silicon, which I work within.
As a quite junior guy I currently only have about 10-12 trips a year, 80% within Norway, where airline miles are banned on domestic routes
However, I love travelling and has a shiny card saying gold, and a few in silver. Currently gold with BMI, but are one my way changing back to good old SAS....but main goal for the next year, beside reaching EB*G (EB = SAS Eurobonus) is to convince and show my girlfriend the benefits from being a frequent flyer......she still doesn't "get" the concept and needs some more experiency within this field.
Besides trying to rack up as many miles as possible as some weird ... dude, I like football (the real one, played with a round ball using your feet), skiing and in general just get drunk

Hey everyone! I am a native of the US, growing up in San Jose, CA and attending college in Boston, MA. Currently doing software development consulting for a couple of clients on both coasts... but unfortunately in this world of Skype and WebEx that alone isn't enough to get me traveling. Trying to land a gig that does...
When I was younger and my parents paid for all my travel I got to United Premier (not hard), but for now I'm nobody... I also like VX for domestic travel between Boston and SFO. Loving the United MP and VX Elevate forums!
