I've managed to adjust my plans to ensure that you aren't stuck in SF with no one to hang out with. What time do you get in?

I'd have the same question... I'm beyond the point of being able to drive up to the city, drink, and drive back to where I'm staying, but if it's around SFO, perhaps Burlingame, I can certainly make my way out to the evening's amusements...

I'm due into the UA terminal from Sacramento around 9:15pm if you want to meet at the airport. I have a connecting US fly due out at 11:45pm. About the only place I can think of to meet outside security would be over in the international terminal, an easy train ride over from any terminal there.

I get into OAK around 7:30 and am driving to the Hilton Fisherman's Warf , so I'll be cabbing to somewhere downtown from there...

But if you guys want to have a get-togehter in Melbrae in my honor, well, I'd be honored in absentia!!!!!!

Suggestions I've heard are the Tonga Room on Nob Hill or WashBaG or Savoy in North Beach. Opinions?

the balboa is IMPOSSIBLE to get in since Mayor Gavin's election - they've torn out the pages of the reservation bookeach day as it's full up every night as SO many peope want to hang out where the mayor goes - I'd recommend against it unless you want a LONG wait for even a seat at the bar

tonga room is very groovy and has a $7-8 hawaiian buffet for those who like to nosh w/ their drinks
