New Game to Play

Since he fell off the face of the earth, our new game to play is....Where in the World is Shadow? Pete, we all miss you, where are you?

I've been wondering where he is myself, newself. Didn't know he moved up North again. SoCal's loss.

Hey, I thought Pete was in Seattle! If he is in Portland, we are having a terrible time with the snow. Power outages affecting thousands. It took me 2 1/2 hours to drive from Eugene to Roseburg (75 miles). I think the only place on I-5 that doesn't have snow is Roseburg. Dave, does he answer his cellphone?

Linda,

I called him on Christmas evening on his cell, left a message, but have not received a response. I talked to him a few months ago while in SEA and he told me that he was thinking of moving back to SoCal.

Was anyone looking for me???

Spoke with brother newself last night & he told me about this thread. Thanks to all for your interest & concern.

Nope, not back in PDX, still in SEA, but looking for other gainful employment and willing to move anywhere it can be found.

I've lost all status with every airline due to no business travel; have been burning a lot of miles this year. My DL account has gone from 600K+ down to 385K, UA from almost 300K down to 180K. AS MVP Gold will be gone too...and I let my Board Room membership expire. Sad, huh.

Only have 4 HH & 1 SPG stays this year so my respective Diamond/Platinum status will be gone also.

There is life after years of travel, but I really do miss it. If any of you know of any companies looking for a strong sales-type who's willing to travel obscene amounts of miles, let me know.

Thanks for posting this Dave.

Shadow... I'm glad you checked in. Sorry to hear about the job situation. In spite of the "improving" economy it's still rough out there.

Don't worry about that status... there are more important things in life (family, friends, cats )

Please keep us posted on how things go. Did you post on comicwoman's thread about finding work (can't think of the title.)

shadow!!!! I'm sooooo glad to hear from you and that you are well just a scant 4 hours north.

The Big Thaw is on so come home. And I second Catman's suggestion of checking out comicwoman's thread on finding work.

E-mail me when you can. I have something for you.
