I will try to be there. However might be going to CDG over the weekend.

So, I probably know whether I will be there or not by next wednesday.

What about somewhere in the Sindelfingen/Bblingen area? Good S-Bahn connections and the only places I know so far...

Marriott Stuttgart Sindelfingen has a decent bar, and they have Knigspilsner from the tap :-)))

Marriott Stuttgart-Sindelfingen
Mahdentalstr. 68
D-71065 Sindelfingen

And if someone likes to stay there overnight, they sure will have weekend rates.

The rates are really quite low. I think to remember that the weekend rate was about 59 Euro...

Sorry that I am going to miss it, but if you're meeting at the Sindelfingen Marriott, you're right near a great eating place:

Leave the Marriott. Turn right when you go out the door, and walk down to the next intersection (it's a "T" with the leg of the "T" to your right), turn right and walk until you reach the end (a couple blocks). It ends in a "T" intersection, with the bar of the "T" being a really nice Gasthaus. In the summer, go around to the back and eat on the terrace on the small lake.

They have some great food, as well as a nice Dunkel Weizen.

No LX web special this weekend, so definitely no Stuttgart for me. However, if this is to be institutionalized I'd be happy to join in for a Stammtisch one day...
