BTW, this is shaping up to be a great trip for me. I don't really have anyone to share the Xmas season with so I'm soooo looking forward to this trip. I managed to snag an F award on LH PDX-FRA-MUC, and the return is already looking oversold. <vbg> Looking forward to the caviar service, sleeper bed, etc., not to mention the prospect of good food, a great city and meeting/re-meeting FT friends.

I am so looking forward to my post-Christmas in Munich; these little Nuernberger Bratwursts (cooked over an open fire) are at the top of my sausage list, so I'll be enjoying at least a couple of dozen on 30 & 31 Dec and 3 & 4 Jan at both establishments. Wish I could join the pre-Christmas bash.

Yes, it is Rudi’s place!
I only heard about the Nürnberger Stadtwurst, but not about the Münchner Stadtwurst. But anywhy, I would not order one of them.

Currently, I'm scheduled to be "gone" from 27 November through 14 December, and it looks as though I fly out again the 15th, and when I get back from that (perhaps the same day), I'm off for the weekend in Munich. I'll definitely be back in town over Christmas, though.

If you can't wait that long, how about tomorrow (Sunday) PM? I have to eat *somewhere* anyway, so we could go to the place we were before, or (if you want to try the civapcici), the place across the street may be open on Sundays.
