How long is your holiday pause?

After I fly home tomorrow (LAX->MIA), I don't have to fly again until 1/11. Three weeks is a long pause for me. Any other very frequent flyers getting a nice long holiday pause?

I have break from the university We sat on wednesday evening in our appartment and just looked at each other. Roomie mentioned that we could read our psyc books, until we realized we are done with that class

Joyful boredom until January 13th (I couldnt get an earlier flight back, lol, saves me being there early to do that Covey-Training).

After an ORD-DFW-SEA 12/26, a break from the skies until a SEA-PHX-SEA 1/6. "Time off" to finish getting those law school apps out & work out the details of selling my little ol' company...

Oh man I wish I could spend it singing "Oh Christmas Tree" to a palm tree on an island beach.

I haven't flown since 11/23 (got 108K BIS) & won't until 1/7. Of course after being on the road so much this fall I'm scrambling now to get things done in the office etc before leaving for the holidays.

Haven't flown since 14 Nov.

I've got an overnighter to ORD on 30 Dec. I'll end the year with 79 flight segments across all commercial carriers.

Next trip will be Jan 12 to SFO.

No holiday pause, no pause until April 1 and hopefully, short of a few work transcons, no travel until October. I love Seattle in the Spring!

I win one more holiday-day next year (366 instead of only 365 in 2003 ...).

It is great to be retired and (until now) still be (more or less) healthy (and able to ski, etc.).

Family (Gisela, Susanna and boyfriend, Maria and boyfriend, mother-in-law, and I) will be at our chalet in Wengen (skiing, snowboarding) from today (Friday, dec-19) until Sunday jan-4 (that is also the period that swiss school holiday last.

Happy holdiays and have a great New Year!

My "holiday pause" involves some flying - for pleasure - to London for New Years.

I am off work in just about one hour (Dec. 19, 5 pm EST) until January 5th!!! This is the longest holiday break I have ever had and I plan on enjoying it! Wahoo!!!

Cheers to all for a great holiday season!

Since my travel is all leisure, it's 31 days in between flights (Jan 14). However, I'm in the office on Christmas day, so it doesn't bother me.

What pause? If they stop working in Christian countries, go to a Buddhist or Muslim country. I'm in DXB now and they are working full steam ahead here.

MONEY! MONEY! MONEY! makes the world go round.

Hmmm ... methinks this is OMNI fodder. Please follow the discussion there.
