I can neither confirm or deny our attendance. I guess "possible" is our status. I think she wants to keep her vacation (My secret MR) as unscheduled as possible. I hope to see you all though.

Had a great time with SeeYa and Vulcan on Thursday. The bateaux mouche ride and dinner after at Bistro Romain in Place de Clichy was fun. (Apologies to Vulcan for kinda leaving him to fend for himself with all the french speakers at his end of the table, should have had you switch with John!)

Did either of you find the restaurant L'Alivi next day?

Have met so many nice people through Flyertalk, batting average is 100%!

Dale,

I recruited my friends that I spent Thanksgiving with to go on next year's Maine trip. When I was telling them about my fall travels, they seemed really interested in Maine. Even after I told them that basically these flyer people talk about their points and miles for the whole weekend, they still want to come.

Just a quick follow-up that we were able to meet up with SeeYa on Friday night and we had a wonderful dinner.

Yes, it was truly a great dinner. And I've never seen a french waiter smile so much!
Very strange to see.
God only knows how he will greet you the next time you go there. Trumpets and rose petals come to mind...

DEK, I have to agree with you. I have met so many great people thru flyertalk.
Dinner was great, even with the rapid flying french for this non-french speaker. We'll have to do that again sometime. Maybe I'll have learned new words and phrases by then other than "port" & "starboard".
