You are right. Come to think of it Village Idiot was histerical. What became of him?

There are several FT'ers whose wit I enjoy, but upon reflection -- I vote for snake.

edited to add There was an FT'er (who isn't around anymore) named Village Idiot who was also terribly funny.

I heard a rumor that he celebrated a birthday in the past 6 months and that he is horrible at Solitaire Showdown on MSN Messenger!

He certainly had the longest e-mail address of anyone here on FT (those that corresponded with him will know what I mean). I had the good fortune to meet him at our Vancouver get together.

I am truly staggered, and thank you for your kind words.

I think that we any of us who deal with people every day usually find more than enough subject matter. I was always a little worried in so far as nothing about which I write have the first thing to do with miles, points, tiers, or status. Strictly speaking this the primary aim of this Board. although I see that all over the Board this is honoured as much in the breach as in the observance.

So, I am happy to acarry on reporting from the front line, and hope that some day soon some of you may be tempted to try BA! Not all my colleagues are like me, they are delightful, and I am sure look after you well.

If this is all rather disjointed, please excuse me I'm still on London time but not in London Town!
