Lunch was good - I didn't share in the "feast" (just ordered a single plate dish) as I was short on time, as it happened there would have been plenty of time to share in the gluttonfest that seemed to cost $27 for the other 3 (and there were 3 large to-go boxes of leftovers). I had imperial roll and grilled pork over rice noodles. The company wasn't bad, either
And there was NO TRAFFIC going over - I made it to the 5th/Mission garage in under 25 minutes.

I enjoyed the lunch too!
And the employees who always seem to stumble and crash as they exit the double kitchen doors add a certain "je ne sais quoi."
The place is what it is and where it is.
Always fun to get together with FTers!
Thanks for the SFMOMA tix, Judith. Remind me at Masa's that I owe you for them.

Guess I'm the last to sign in. The Chagall exhibition was much better than I expected. Tu Lan was much the way I remembered it. The company for lunch was much more interesting than the last time I was there. I think it becomes less exciting after multiple visits, since the surprise of where it is wears off.
The food wasn't spectacular, but it was quite good and certainly quite plentiful.

Thanks for a wonderful end to my great weekend! Meeting Ebay 1K and Kathy was great - seeing willie-wonka again (and getting to visit her VERY cool store) was fun as well per usual.
Such a nice treat. Thanks again for coming out to meet me. I too went to the Chagall exhibit. . hmm. . .interesting I didn't happen to run into one of you
Also, as a side note, thanks to tom911 for making the time to come to Napa to see me (even on broken toe and all - those darn household appliances - hard to know when they'll attack you!
Again, thanks all. FYI. . the food was good and I loved the atmosphere. . like eating in somebody's kitchen!
