You still have it? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/confused.gif

Lucky dog...!

I have been unable to make one of these in a long, long, long, long time. I'm usually out of town for them and July is no exception.

Aside from that I just wanted to say that Potowmack Landing is a neat idea and wanted to throw out another idea for when it rolls around to VA again. (October?)

Gravelly Point on the north side of the airport is particularly cool for plane watching, especially when the traffic is landing to the south. Add in a scanner and you can listen in to all the transmissions between the tower and the pilots landing and the jets cleared for takeoff.

But instead of a happy hour (there's no food service there) perhaps we put together a weekend day barbecue/picnic? Perhaps throw a football around? (Appropriate for October, no?)

SO... zipper still has Freddie (for a LONG time.)

Who will be the next person to get it? Maybe set up a handoff at the DC Monthly Happy Hours thing.

I like this idea, although I prefer to kick round footballs. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

What time does this start? I'm flexible. What time do you want to be picked up? Anyone else need a ride? For the location, it doesn't really matter. How about going downstairs to the arrivals and meeting at the US Airways end. There is a sign for US Airways Shuttle pick up on the outer loop. Is that OK? I can give you my cell phone number.

That's it for the list, folks. Anyone not already on the list is still welcome. VJ's reservation is large enough to fit everyone and they can add chairs to our table, as needed.

Cheers - see you Thursday evening.

Add me to the "maybe" list. I've actually never met any FTers before http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/redface.gif, and this sounds like a good way to meet a bunch. But, two weeks is way too far in advance to be certain. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/tongue.gif
