I try to limit "gotta go to LA tomorrow, back Thurs midnight" to maybe once a month or so ... the probability of having to say that next week is actually increasing, so it's better to preserve my non-infinite amount of domestic goodwill capital
Umi -- the Japanese place here -- is outstanding ... a little avant-garde, a little pricey, but really good (esp the albacore & crispy onion hand roll)

So I think I might have to turn in my Flyertalk membership card, I can not find my passport. DOH !!!! So I won't be making the trip out to LA this evening.
