Yes, please update as another FT gathering sounds like fun.
As a suggestion, if you like comfort food with a slight Latin American twist, I recommend this restaurant called good in the W. Village area (by 8th ave/14th st).

It's on Greenwich Avenue, BTW. Very interesting cuisine. I'll be here only 'till July 2nd-- flying to TXL for the July 4th weekend.
