PHX Dinner-Do June 17 Details Here!

OK, so whoever can, let's converge on Sam's Cafe in the upstairs of the Biltmore Fashion Park Mall at 2566 E. Camelback in Phoenix, June 17 at 6:30 PM. For those unfamiliar with Sam's, it's kind of a Santa Fe/Mex blend, great atmosphere, great food, fairly reasonable prices.

I'll talk to them about reservations, etc.

Jan_AZ is in, as are The Banking Scot & myself. Please respond here so I can keep reservations up-to-date.

I'll be happy to help the Banking Scot with a ride, and others that may be car-less as needed.

Hi,

Sounds good to me. Thanks for booking it and for the offer of the ride.

Regards

Is this a good time to visit the Grand Canyon?

It's not a bad time. It's at a higher elevation, so temperatures are more moderate. If you come out, it will be less busy on weekdays.

Hmm, just checked the car rentals and the hotels. Let me think about this.

I would have enjoyed attending, but will be on vacation in Cabo!

I am sure you will all have a great time, and I look forward to the next gathering!

Hi Centurion,

We had set this up according to some of our guest's wishes for food, atmosphere, etc., so I think it's best to continue with our original plans. Perhaps we can try this for a future do. Hope you can join us!

I've got a reservation for tomorrow evening (Tuesday) for 5-6 people at Sam's for 6:30 PM. Ask for the Flyertalk table. See you there!

Sorry I missed this one, as I arrived PHX last nite after 6pm. How about doing this again later on at a "hotter" place, like CARLSBAD TAVERN, RICHARDSON'S or LOS DOS MOLINOS III?

Sounds like someone just volunteered to coordinate the next one!
