Here's an idea. (I know, I know: dream on!) We could rent a suite at the Marriott or Hilton or wherever, esp. if we could find one that had a nice big plasma set, and hold a Do over a weekend so we could see a game or two. Spreading the cost among enough FTers and it becomes somewhat of a possibility ...
No flames please. It's just a thought.

But at the very least we could commandeer a nice big table at Champions Sports Bar.

And more importantly
since it looks like multiple trips to SMF could be in my near future, can anyone help me maximize segments so I can requalify for 1P next year? Keep in mind that I'm back in student (read: poor) mode and hope that I can capitalize on the usual $78 PDX-SMF fares less the gobs of 15% off certs I have in my stash.Paging trvl4free and crankyusi!

TravelManKen: Fortunately, as both of us know, there is a whole beautiful wonderful and satisfactory world outside of FT, i.e. the real world
No wars, dictatorships or bad people can steal the fantastic smell and beauty of a flower.

2000th post
I just wanted my 2000th post to be posted in Community. This post came faster than I would have ever thought. Thanks to FT and all the FTers out there for my first 2000 posts. Now on to 3000. Thanks.

Yes a huge congrats. This is a (mile)stone that I have not even acheived yet. The best part is that you acknowledge all the other FTers with this honor. As you say, on to 3,000 - though I hear the next thousand or two are always much easier than the first 2,000.

Actually, it's not an honor I'm proud of - the last 20+ posts have had to deal with avek00, trolls, and language requirements on the CO board. My first 1,000 posts were among those where i felt i could even contribute to FT, the last 1,000 or so have been purely maintenance. Care to trade some post enjoyment?
Thanks for the acknowledgement.
