I have been getting the Swissotel Stamford on http://www.priceline.com for US$62+US$10 tax per night (4*, Marina area). This time I got upgraded to the Plaza. These rooms normally cost $125 to $175 a night.

Hey, I'll be there on the same days!

I'm still debating between the Hilton and the Conrad. Conrad is nicer as a hotel, but the Hilton is much more convenient.

I will be in SIN from 1-8 March, but I'm told INSEAD keeps you pretty busy so the only time I expect to be free is the evening of Saturday 1 March. It would be good to meet up with anyone else who's there then.

Well, after a fast trip to London and the start of my EXP requalification, I feel the need to SIN. Hope it will work out for Mar 19/20-24.

The SIN Conrad is not the hotel of FT past.
I checked out this morning, and as a Gold Hilton VIP was not given lounge access. My stay was a comedy of errors, and the manager has promised me better accomodations on a future visit, but the damage was done, and I do not want to even consider the Conrad on any future visit to SIN.

However, the Conrad in Hong Kong was a most pleasant experience.

i can be in SIN 12 feb - 15 feb or BKK or KUL... anyone around? keen to clock up a few extra star miles rather than hang in BKK for 3 days.
