Theft from checked baggage

Theft from checked baggage
Just a quick survey...
How many here have had something stolen from their checked baggage?
Twice for me now..(SEA-LHR-BCN) & (YVR-JFK-EZE)and the Airlines and the cops are just not interested!..
so much for security...like always it will come from the inside.!.
How easy would it be for one of these scum bags to take a bribe and load something on a plane...scaryyyy.
The police just told me they could do nothing because of the unions and a stike would take place if they started questioning people...what is the world coming too.

Unfortunately, security is part of the problem since the TSA has asked that all checked baggage be unlocked. There is a discussion on this in the Travel/Security forum. Here's a link:

Fortunately we have a busy forum here so there is no boredom. But this brings with it that we should keep it to community issues - otherwise we would soon loose the overview.
