Dusseldorf on Feb 1 (night) ?
Anyone in Dusseldorf for Sat night 1st Feb ?
I'm either staying in the Arabella Sheraton DUS Airport, or the Hilton Dusseldorf - have award res with both at present - can you help me decide ?
I would be on for a few pints or a meal (relatively) early on Sat night, as I have to get up early on Sun am to visit the Fashion Fair, and need to be very lucid !!
Regards,
John P.

Thanks bernie,
Will you be around for a drink ?
Also, reason for the Sheraton over the Hilton (location ?)

The Sheraton is steps from the airport so great location. there's also a good restaurant in the hotel, as well as a nice bar.
You also might want to take a shot at a room upgrade as a gold. When you check in request a room at the end of one of the hotel "wings." Those rooms are bigger than the average room.
The one setback is the internet keyboard they give you sometimes doesn't work.
But overall a very good Sheraton.

Thanks, bernie - Sheraton was very good - I didn't spend too long there in any case - less than 10 hours, but it was just what I needed - a short walk from the terminal, good room (thanks Catman, I emailed them ...) and good breakfast ....
Got the train into town & met unagi1 for a steak & a few pints with friends
