Cotton Bowl
Are any FTers (who also are Texas Exes) planning to tailgate at Chris Simms' last collegiate game at the Cotton Bowl on New Year's morning? Personally, I'll be in Austin eating chili in front of the TV.

I'm not a Texas Ex, but chances are 50/50 that I will end up going to the Cotton Bowl.
I'll be partying with my LSU friends though.
I like my Bevo medium rare, thank you very much!

techgirl, hopefully your partying will take place before the game. There isn't going to be much of a reason to party afterwards - at least from the LSU end of things.

Well, that was interesting. I thought LSU was going to pull off the upset by the end of the 1st Quarter the way they were coming after us and holding on to the ball.
Congratulations to Chris Simms and Cory Redding for being the on the field leaders they are. Not to mention to Roy Williams for living up to being "the Legend". I can now comfortably say that Chris Simms did not lose a single game for us this football season. Could not have made the same claim last year.

Now here is the question... my business partner went to LSU. If Tech beat Texas... and Texas beat LSU, can I razz him today that Tech is better than LSU?

The likelihood of Chris Simms ending up in Dallas seems pretty good. I mean, there are some other "big name" QB's coming out this year and Dallas doesn't have the first choice in the draft. Then there's the family history thing with Parcells. But, who knows, Parcells would probably skip Simmms just to be able to say he did it his way rather than to bow to fan/jerry pressure.
Roy on the other hand...man, wouldn't that be sweet...but I have a feeling he's long gone before Dallas would have a chance at him.
