I SHOULD Know Better!

Sitting here extremely envious of those who were able to make use of the BA unofficial fare sale. Would have loved to have booked trips to take the kids over to Europe in Feb. or March. Probably would have booked a couple of trips at that price!

Of course, that will teach me to not read FlyerTalk for a day or two!!

I would have to be flying from New Zealand to Los Angeles when the sale took place. Oh well, there is next time & I am most thankful that the super bargain was posted on FT for many to snag those bargains!

Djlawman...same here.

I was off FlyerTalk for 2 days saying to myself, "I think I'll take a couple of days away from FlyerTalk for the holiday."

That'll teach me!

Maybe this and setting it up with my cell phone alerts will give me a better chance to snag one next time.

Same here. I was on the BA FC segment of my BA FC/Concorde Insideflyer run to CPH while the fare was out there.
It just shows you that you can't be out of touch with FT faor even a few hours. I have lots of friends and two kids who would havbe taken advantage. I'm sitting here waiting for the phone to ring asking why I didn't let them know

Yeah, I thought I'd missed out....

Then I saw trip.com was still taking orders...

Then I booked a ticket to FCO, without even knowing where I'd stay, how long it'd take to get a visa, etc...

Could not have done a thing about it even though I saw it happening. NRT-"US Gateway" is not in the budget, but................

Major pats on the back and big grins that FT performed so well for so many. Love to see it and I shall travel BA vicariously through the trip reports.

I missed out also! I normally check the Mileage Run forum several times a day for potential airfare deals, but I was in bloody Singapore at the time, so checking FT was not high on my list of priorities. Oh well...

Unless there is a get-together pending in LHR, please continue this discussion in the Mileage Run forum. Thanks.
