Joh-

There may be a breakfast/brunch type event depending on when everyone decides to fly out. But since you arent arriving til midday..I'm sure those of us still in town can be forced to eat again later http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif I believe the M's are playing as well that day if you like Baseball. Please keep me posted so we can figure something out for your arrival!!

Spiff- I havent seen any of the SEA 4*'s go as low as the Hyatt in Chicago has. Last year the Priceliners got the Westin or Vintage Park if I remember correctly. Both very nice properties though http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

        jan,
Lox and knishes don't carry well, especially in the summer.

        Missy,
I think you'll enjoy the pleasure of your first 'black and white' (cookie) on your way to the Chicago DO. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

My shopping list will include the following:

        1. Yankee baseball caps (for the brave hearted).
        2. Mini bottles of booze from UA. I'll be passing those out to the 'local' fans who will need it. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif Ducking. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/tongue.gif

        Dan-

Being brave, foolish and who knows what other adjectives <g>, as well as a native New Yorker, I will join you in wearing a Yankees cap if you will bring me one. Now that is not to say that I will wear it on the plane back to AZ http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

You've never had a black and white? I grew up on those in NY http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Photo:
        http://www.blackandwhitecookies.com/

Started on Priceline today, with $45 4* and $35 3* bids. Both rejected. Will probably add $5 to those and try again next week.

This is going to be a blast! So many familiar names here. Michael and I have right field seats, but we'll have our binoculars trained on the rowdy group in left field and will find plenty of opportunities to meet up for beers during the game.

        Middle_Seat Apr 13, 2002 1:29 pm

missydarlin, count me in as a single to the ballgame. I'll be on the tail-end of a vacation to FAI and Washington State. Being from Texas, I would never root for Yankees http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif.

the group tix are in section 386..theres nothing left near us..otherwise I would have bought more tickets. But you might be able to find some singles still for sale, or take the "re-sale" option.

Doh! Sounds like us YVR FT'ers are going to have to convert our CDN Pesos into some serious US Greenbacks now.

I'm sure we can gather up a bunch of us "northerners" to descend on your fair city. Who's got what left in the way of tix?

        Thanks. Dogstar.
