SeaDoo IV - Boeing Tour

There has been some interest in taking the Tour of the Boeing Plant in Everett.

They have a 1PM tour which should get us all back in plenty of time for the game, sailing, or whatever other plans are in the works for Friday night.

They REQUIRE reservations if there are 10 or more in the group. Cost for Reserved group tours is $10 per person and is non refundable once purchased.

Please post if you are interested so I can see if there are enough of you to warrant making a reservation..or if there are just a couple, we can just drive up and hope we get in when we want.

Edited to mention..this is for Friday, August 16th at 1pm by the way

Sign me up too.

If we visit the Boeing surplus store, can I buy my own 747?

Forget the 747's! Where are the 757's, F-18's and 8V-8B's? Oh, and a Space Shuttle, too.

Now, timewise, I'm not sure that we can be there by that time.

It might be a week or 2 before we finalize our arrival to BFI.

We currently have about 14 people confirmed for the Boeing Tour..but we need to work out some transportation issues.

This is who I have currently on the list..please let me know if I missed ya

Who's going to have a car..and how many can you transport?

Should we consider renting a van for the day?
Anyone have free rental coupons to share if we do need to rent?

Even better than coupons are some of the Avis discount codes posted on the Avis forum....there's one, D002807, that has saved me a bundle on a couple of rentals. Look under the "Avis discount code" thread.

    Kathy

P.S.: Edited to add, of course, you meant a coupon for a "free rental" rather than a "free coupon" for a rental. In which case, I doubt ANY discount code could beat that!

RV? LOL I thought that was for the way to and from the Brewery. Is there a desinated FT RV that will come out of this. How many miles do we collectively have to earn to be partners in this endeavor?

Hi, count me in for the Boeing tour if there's still space. Also, I haven't decided if I'm renting a car yet .. but I can rent one and open up some space if I can get some riders to help split the cost.
