SEA do - where are you staying?

I do have a ressie but it is out near the airport and I just now found out how far away that is from downtown. So now it is on to Priceline and I was just wondering, where are many people congregating as far as hotel accomodations are concerned. I figured if there was just one thread of Hotels confirmed, it might make it easier to meet people (or at least know where they are).

Thanks a bunch for any responses.

Great website - thanks Markbach. Quite Braziliant.

Kahuna - as per Mark's link to Sheryl's page, there are many threads on that board about PL rates etc. Really has been crazy with 4* bids for $40 getting Elliot Grande Hyatt and then bids for $110 same weekend not getting anything and later on folks snagging for $40 again. Good luck.

What, KahunaJax2anywhere, you don't want to wade through 10 pages on the original thread looking for hotels? I don't blame you. Many of us scooped up the $40 PL rooms at the Hyatt, but I see a number of people at the W as well. Most of the downtown hotels are pretty close together so we walk everywhere--Safeco to the Market (Kell's) and back. We are arriving by train and will probably take the easy-to-use free bus downtown to our hotel since we will have bags. Mark is right about checking the webpage, but I noticed a lot of people haven't officially RSVP'd yet, so you'll have to keep checking (I'm guilty as well).

Is the list for this event closed? I actually should not even be thinking of attending, since this is one week before Im off for a 1 week vacation (and Im sure to be swamped with work), but it sounds really tempting (and that Boeing tour Ive always wanted to do)....

What about the entire lot of SEA resident FTers... who will be part of the event (Chex, Punki, Geo, etc.?)...????

Gaucho. Be great to catch you again. AFAIK Beoing does NOT do tours on weekends. Some are doing Friday, and a few on Monday.

Thanks Markbach and Ozstamps - I had checked that first as well, but there are many that were undecided as of the time of posting.

I wonder if you do better doing 2 rooms on PL rather than one. Anyone want to try for me and I would reimburse you LOL

For the record, no commission on your voluntary good-heared gesture! okay, maybe "A" beer - but not the size of a keg

By the way, YES I got tired of remembering which PAGE of the other thread I had to find hehee.
