WAS in June
 

I was on the chat earlier this week and there was some interest in doing a get together in my back yard. Hah -- I don't have a back yard, since I live in a condo, but I checked with El Presidente and he says we can have something in his back yard, the Ellipse.

If this is going to happen, I'll need to gauge interest now to see who will be coming. Also, I'll need a significant amount of help with the planning since I just started a new job!

So, who's interested? And who will help me?

It's not a sorority convention, but I interviewed the president of the Old Dominion Brewing Company (a very good microbrewery in Ashburn near IAD -- their beer is sold at Dulles as well) for my column last week and he told me about their plans to hold a beer festival outside the brewery on the first Saturday in June. Lots of beer, food, beer, live music and beer if anybody likes those kinds of things.

Also interested, Ive been meaning to get there for a while, to see friends new baby ( about 6 months old by now) Its like a Seinfeld episode.

I'm always interested in BWI/DCA as I have close friends there, but unfortunately the first three weekends in June are all taken and the last one is on the verge of being taken as well. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

I'm up for anything in DC. Give me a timeframe and maybe I could even help plan things.

I've always wondered what DC is like. I'd be willing to cash in some miles to go there!
