Name Five FTers you would like to meet...
 

Every year since I've joined the FT community, I made a list of five people who I wanted to meet for that year. I've always reached my goal. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif But here it is, JUNE! I haven't made my list, much less met anyone, since my travel has been cut drastically. I've asked fellow FTers about who they would like to meet, and have gotten answers like geo1004, kokonutz and mauld.

So WHO would you like to meet, and have you met your goal? This is in view of the Chicago DO that I'm missing, and wishing I were there. Now this is not a popularity contest! It may be someone you've corresponded with in personal email, a chat buddy, or a witty poster. It's so hard to narrow it down to FIVE.

Absolutely! It's nearly impossibe for me. I've met many, many FT'ers, at various places over these years, including Linda thankfully, and it's my hope to actually meet 'em all some time! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Although I've been around these boards since the early days, and met a multitude of charming and interesting people, (including the elusive JAWS_II, as well as the majority of those who have posted in this thread http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif) I'm still waiting to cross paths with another old timer, essxjay!

There are so many yet unmet who charm me on the board and in chat, that it is difficult to downselect. Regardless, here are my five:

kanebear for his constant generosity to other FTers and his wonderful sense of humor
QuietLion for his wonderful trip reports that allow me to travel the world vicariously
Village Idiot for the most hysterical posts I've ever read on FT (and whose posts I sadly miss)
Merry who along with Pucci Galore keeps the BA forum the most entertaining forum on the board

Having only just got (or gotten as you say Stateside) around to thinking about replying to this thread I am glad that Pucci makes an appearance on this list - she seemed to me to be an absolutely glaring omission from everyone else's post and she was sorely missed at the GLBT/Tarom/Glam dinner on Friday night in Chicago - she is, after all, the offical Tarom Goddess if my memory serves me correctly.
