Post Freddies breakfast...Friday April 26

Here's the plan.

You're here in NY. Maybe it's your first trip. Maybe not.

Wanna have a real New York breakfast?

Check out VESELKA at zagat.com.

Besides the usual breakfast items, Veselka, located at 2nd ave and East 9th street in the east village, has lots of real, homemade Polish food. So if want to eat blintzes like you've never had before; or potato pirogen that's to die for, come join us for a Post Freddies breakfast (brunch).

Time: 10:00 Friday April 26.

Lexington Avenue subway (#6 train) to Astor Place. This is the local. Then, walk a block to Second Ave.

You can e mail me for subway directions, or better yet, post it here.

Who wants to join me? I can promise you this, you won't regret it.

Is the breakfast still a go? If so, I would love to go. I'll be at the W-Times Square Thurs. night.

Since my schedule didn't allow me to sign up for your Brooklyn tour, I will definitely take advantage of a good breakfast and a chance to meet more FTers.

Let me know if any of the details change.

Thanks!

Marsh,

If a few people are interested, I'll be happy to have breakfast at Veselka's.

Otherwise take the #6 Lexington Ave local to Astor Place, then walk 2 blocks to 2nd Ave.

Note to visiting flyertalkers...I can eat here anytime. You can't!

I've been busier than ever, but still, this sounds so killer, I can't believe I missed it. We'll talk more at the Freddies, but for now, I am totally up for this.

p.s. just talked to Kenji, and he said to put him down too.

Depending on my Thursday evening drinking schedule-- I'd love to stop by and meet a few FTers (and only 6 blocks from my house.) Maybe I can stop by on my way to work.

JonNYC, you're coming to the Freddies on Thursday evening aren't you?

Dan, if I didn't have to come into the office on Friday, I'd be there. Ah-choo, hope I'm not getting a cold.

Actually, no. I'm very interested in the results (hoping CO gets a well deserved slap,) but as much as I love flying, FT, mileage runs, etc., I draw the line at attending this type of thing. Just a personal choice. OTOH, I should have monitored this forum to see what folks were doing before/after/weekend following, etc.

We're still meeting for breakfast at 10:00am.

If you're joining us last minute, just look for 3 tourists and a New Yorker! Or just listen to see if we're discussing miles and points.
Look for the Flyertalk pin.
