Chicago Do - Dinner Sat June 1, 2002 7:00PM
Ok, finally, all set to go. We have half the restaurant at:
Leona's
646 N. Franklin
Chicago
312-867-0101
Drinks and appetizers will begin at 7:00 pm with deep dish pizza, pasta, salads, and other fixins to follow around 8 ish.
The total cost of the food, soft drinks (including AnnaS's favorite lemonade, tea, coffee), tax, tip, service charges, is $38.00 (US).
I have set up a PayPal account (I'm a PayPal virgin) to accept checks and credit cards. Oh, and be sure to let me know your FT screen name too.
Please remit soon so we get a good idea on the crowd size. If you are unable to remit via this method, please email me.
My PayPal and email are:
[email protected]

Hi, have been trying to pay for this using paypal and it says something to the effect that I can't pay for this with a credit card.
Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help...! (Will gladly do it through my checking account but would rather use the C.C.)
Thanks,
Dale.

I am a PayPal virgin too, and I checked out their website in order to make the payment, but I didn't manage to. Do I actually need an account myself? Will it work with an overseas address?

It appears that according to PayPal I am a previous member in a reincarnation I guess.
So I have no idea what my password is - I tried my favorite dirty dozen. (thanks dhammer for reminding us to constantly change our passwords Could you also remember to remind us to take our ginko)
I click forgot password and an email is sent by the computer to the supposed account that I registered with when a company called @home.com was in business.
So it appears that the computer with more gigo for a brain then me continues to send email to a defunct company. Hopefully paypal will shortly join @home in the ethernet.
