**Houston**
I have not seen a Houston gathering in a long time. I don't have time to plan a weekend or a big to-do, but would love to meet some FTers. Old San Fransicso Steakhouse (in the IDine book) is available with a private room for lunch (12-2ish ?) on July 13th. If we get 20 people we can have an all inclusive for 25.00 per person.......Potatoe, Salad, Choice of beef, chicken or veggie plate, and tea/coffee, dessert and TIP INCLUDED. Anyone interested?
If not here, anyone want to plan an Astros game or other event?

I travel to Houston all the time and would have normally been able to schedule this around a visit to my ladyfriend who lives there.
But unfortunately, this is one of those weekends that is locked in stone for me every year.
Maybe another time we can join you?

Actually, fscher, I'll be in Hawaii that week...finally cashing in some DL miles as well as HH points at the Waikoloa! But I'll check back for further updates.

It looks like I picked a very bad date and may have to reschedule, but the fax of the official menu came and I thought I would post:
Famous Swiss Cheese Block
Sourdough Breads
Steak House Sald with House Dressing
Choice of:
Orange Roughy Provencal
Grilled Chicken
10 Oz. Ribeye Steak
Veggie Platter
All served with:
Twice Baked Potato
Green Bean Almondine
Black Forest Cake
Tea and Coffee
Sounds good to me!
All for 25.00 including tax and tip.

Let me know when you do schedule.
Houston is an easy flight (or even DRIVE) for me and I've got an unused ticket to Hobby on DL that I could book for just a change fee....

Give the calendar a glance in the late summer and perhaps post something for mid-fall when the temperatures cool down and you might even get some non-Texans who are willing to brave the Indian summer.
