Is Dr. Tom in the building?

I was given Peter Greenberg’s Travel Detective a few months ago… not a bad book, albeit makes air travel look like an SAS mission... anyway...

He mentions a Dr. Tom, which, if a real character must be a FT regular... so is there a Dr. Tom out there?

Anyone has read this book? Some great parts but paints a rather bleak picture when it comes to the experience of travel itself (but clearly a truthful one, which is rather sad).

This is my all-time favorite book!!! I am the biggest Peter fan ever! I love the Today Show, but my day is really made when Matt interviews Peter! Yeah!!!

I read it, and then my mom read it, and then my dad read it, and then Mr. BoulderHyattHopper read it. I don't know what was better, reading it, or watching everybody else read it!

I love when he talks about his good friend, Jay Leno... and the infamous shampoo bottles!!!

I don't know who Mr. Tom is, but would be interesting...

If you are at all interested, round two comes out in June. I already have it on preorder. I cannot wait!!!

I didn't know there was a second tome planned.

Still waiting to hear from "Dr. Tom"...
