I just found out I need to be in Singapore and Penang, Malaysia next week and was wondering if anyone is around during these times. I will be staying in the Conrad on Sat and Sunday nights (9th - 10th) and the Hilton (13th - 20th). I am scheduled on UA897 LAX to SIN via NRT on Friday the 8th and return on the 20th on UA890 to NRT and UA838 to SFO. How about if anyone else is on the planes with me?

I'll be arriving in SIN on 3/7 (Thursday), staying at the T1 transit hotel that night and then have three nights booked at the Conrad (3/8 - 3/10, Friday through Sunday). I am flying out of SIN on 3/11 -- all upgrades cleared.

So it looks like we could hook up anytime on Saturday or Sunday. According to FT Itineraries, there are definitely some other FTers in SIN at the same time. AT least two seem to be on my return flight to NRT.

I am not sure whether I'll be checking email after 3/11. If nothing is worked out ahead of time, my reservation in the Conrad is under "Larry Unger"

It looks like Sunday is the date as I arrive at midnight Saturday. I don't know if anyone has anything planned for Sunday but I'm game. I will be flying out to Penang on Monday morning and then back Wed night. I'll be registered under my nom de plume "Scott Guy".

Will be flying to SIN from LAX on March 7th. Probably in Coach, unless my friend in SFO can get us on SFO-SIN flight, and do some operationals... Also will be in Malaysia, flying AirAsia from SZB to LGK...

Right now LarryU and myself are probably getting together for dinner and drinks Sunday late afternoon or early evening and you and the Mr. are most cordially invited. The more the merrier . Where exactly are you staying while in Singapore ? Both Larry and I are at the Conrad which is next to the Suntec Mall. Most of downtown Singapore is easily accessible by cab or subway so we can coordinate this Sunday morning after I talk to Larry. You could call either myself or Larry at the Conrad around 9 - 10am.
