Things to do at SJC during a 6 hr layover... Suggestions?
Hi all! I'll be "stranded" in SJC for 6 hrs tomorrow during a "mini mileage run" and am trying to find things to do. (Without renting a car) Any ideas? Also, does anyone know if there is anywhere to store a carry-on bag during this time?
My itinerary is as follows:
6:10am-7:41am AA3029 MCO-STL
8:40am-10:44am AA3193 STL-LAX
12:50pm-2:05pm AA834 LAX-SJC
8:15pm-9:37pm AA1020 SJC-LAS
11:45pm-553A05am AA1650 LAS-ORD
7:06am-10:43am AA2099 ORD-MCO
If anyone out there in FlyerTalk land would like to meet during my travels, please let me know!
Thanks!

Honestly, there's not a whole lot to do around here. You could cruise downtown and check out the Tech Museum (worth seeing once) and surrounding eateries. Downtown San Jose is pretty easy to navigate on foot. I suppose it shouldn't be too hard to kill 5 hours there. If you do decide to rent a car, the Budget Ford Rangers are pretty easy to book for $20/day -- cheaper than cabs if you want to go anywhere other than downtown.

No need to rent a car---use the light rail for $1.50! There is a free bus that stops at the airport that will take you straight to the light rail station.
There is also a Carl Straus Brewery downtown.</font>

Here's the web page for Santa Clara County transit:

I'll miss you by a few hours (I'm on the way to Orlando for an overnight run early Tuesday morning).
