Six Nations Rugby 2002
Any FTers going to any of this year's 6 Nations rugby internationals?
Naturally I'll be following Scotland around Europe...
v England at home Sat 2 Feb
v Italy in Rome Sat 16 Feb
v Ireland in Dublin Sat 2 Mar
v France at home Sat 23 Mar
v Wales in Cardiff Sat 6 Apr
TomCayman is coming from the warmth of GCM to the chill of EDI to watch Scotland bravely fight to a legendary victory over the English. (Well, he's coming to see the match, anyway
)
Any others for any others?
Alastair

If so, my FFCJ is ready and willing.

I can strongly recommend Blair's local Parisian team, Stade Francais. If you need convincing, I suggest you check out the latest club photos...

This year, they are playing Ireland on 9 November at Lansdowne Road, England on 16 November at Twickenham and Italy on 23 November (unconfirmed venue).
Not sure about the kiwis ....

Au contraire, celbrian, I think you like rugby too much
England v Australia does sound good for the Autumn Tests.
On a slightly less glamorous level, Scotland's AT games are
09 Nov 2002 Scotland vs Fiji
16 Nov 2002 Scotland vs South Africa
23 Nov 2002 Scotland vs Romania
all at Murrayfield.
However, we do get to tour to Canada and Los Angeles in June 2001. Lots and lots of *A miles...

I was just thinking that.
A TAROM GlamTour to EDI perhaps? TAROM's kilted air crew tackle Scotland's finest.
Hmmm...
Mind you, seeing as Romania's last match, against England, led to an 134-0 (sic) defeat, I think the team will have to stay out of the Tupolev Lounge for a few weeks beforehand.

And TaromGlam may just be interested in a corporate sponsorship deal. We'll need to discuss this with the GlamBoard.

When are the Canada and LA dates? I could possibly join you for a match and some warm Guiness.

I'm probably not going to get home for the 6 Nations this year but there is a slight chance that I'll get back there to see Ireland play Italy March 23rd in Dublin but at the moment its 20/80. I will however be watching in much anticiption Feb 16th to see if Italy can put one over on Scotland again. LOL. I am planning on going to NZ this summer to see Ireland play the All Blacks June 15th and 22nd. Also, I'd like to go back in the fall for Ireland and Australia November 9 in Dublin.
The following are scheduled North American matches this summer;
June 15 Canada vs Scotland.....Vancouver
June 22 USA vs Scotland.....LA
June 29 Canada vs USA.....TBA
August 28 Canada vs USA.....TBA
Canada play Uruguay July 6 and August 10 but I'm not sure where the matches are being played.

I've tried to forget about that match, but no matter how much I drank in Rome that night, it's all still clear in my mind.I'm watching Sunday's Wales v Ireland game in a pub somewhere (after I've worked off the hangover from Saturday). I was going to be neutral, but now, Deco11 I shall be supporting Wales
